Begonias

Begonias delight as outdoor and indoor plants, giving a showy display of colour wherever you choose to plant them. They flourish as houseplants, in hanging baskets or pots, as well as in borders. Multi-layered blooms of white, scarlet, pink or yellow are sometimes trimmed with a deeper or contrasting colour and contrast well with attractive and often variegated foliage. Plant in well-composted soil with good drainage in a light but shady area, out of the direct sun. Don’t overwater, but don’t let them get completely dry. Originally from warm tropical and sub-tropical areas, tuberous Begonias require winter storage in cold areas. All our Begonia’s are grown by ourselves. SHIPPING DETAILS FOR PRE-ORDERS

All Spring Bulb(s) Orders are Currently Pre-orders. We expect to be harvesting these Bulbs right through to around the end of September. Currently we anticipate beginning the dispatching the pre-orders around mid August/ September, and will continue through to around the end of September.

Due to the number of pre-orders expected, and the ongoing harvest, we're unable to give you an accurate delivery date until mid/later in the season. We'll be keeping our shipping details updated throughout the harvest period, so if you're wanting to keep in the loop please email us.

Begonia Buffy

They are suited to container growing, and for hanging-baskets. Tuberous begonias are frost-tender, and need to be lifted and over-wintered in a frost-free place, so are often grown as annuals. Sprays of flowers, each bloom up to 3cms. Across, are carried on fleshy stems above the handsome coppery foliage from summer through until autumn.
