Cauliflower

The great thing about Cauliflower is that by using different varieties, you can now harvest at any time of the year. Such a versatile vegetable, it goes with just about any meal. White or coloured, tight heads and a superb flavour are the main requirements for a quality Cauliflower. This is easy to achieve if you follow some basic rules. The main one being that they need firm, fertile soil.
  • Another dual purpose Summer/Autumn 'Cauli'. A few days earlier than All Rounder and stands a few days longer but otherwise a reliable stocky plant with hybrid vigour and dense curds throughout its harvest life. Germination normally takes 14-21 days.

  • For an early taste of Mini Cauliflowers there's nothing to compare with. An early sowing will produce an early spring time crop right on until autumn. Pure white mini curds with little core. Germination normally takes 14-21 days.

    Outdoor sown plants should be transplanted into their final quarters when 6-8 inches tall. Pot grown plants can be thinned to one plant per pot and the spare seedling re-potted into its own container.

A slower cauliflower to grow, watch the ph.
