These are rare and popular for any garden. They have a true unique, high quality, nutrient-dense garlic bulbs grown in Pukekohe, NZ.
  • Well-known and reliable, Garlic 'Germidour' comes from Old Heirloom French variety that is well adapted to New Zealand conditions. This soft neck variety produces large, white bulbs with a mild but still rich flavour. Height: 60 cm. Spread: 15 cm.

  • Italian White Garlic is an annual bulb, replanted each season. Plant in autumn and harvest in summer. White cloves, good market type. Stronger flavour than most other garlic making it perfect for cooking. A mix of bulb sizes between 40mm to 70mm in size approx., roots are attached and garlic is minimally cleaned. This is organically grown garlic and can be used for eating or planting.

  • A strong bright white late porcelain with a bit of heat but not too hot with a strong robust flavour. Hardy and productive plants that average 5 to 8 very large cloves.

  • Mild tasting with subtle flavour that is extremely popular. A subtle, mild tasting garlic variety. This variety is very adaptable and grows in a variety of climates. Its tight coarse tunics make for a long storage life of up to 6 months. Harvest 240 days from planting. Harvest spring planted garlic the same season, about 90 days from planting. Averages 6 to 8 cloves per bulb approx. Different size bulbs.

  • This colossal garlic can grow to an amazing 15cm across and weighs almost 1kg approx. Each clove is bigger than a regular garlic bulb! As it is closely related to the common leek, the flavour is milder, making it suitable to use raw in salads.

  • Violet Garlic (sometimes called Purple Garlic) is the earliest of the Heirloom French Garlic varieties to emerge in the early Summer months. The Violet Garlic can have large heads with a great garlic flavour and hints of sweetness. A favourite for roasting due to its good size.

  • Messidor Garlic is a old French variety. White bulb and (cloves 5-20 per bulb). Milder taste. It's best to plant this garlic in the autumn. You separate the cloves from the tuber and plant them in your vegetable garden. These are classified as better in flavour than Elephant Garlic.
