Italian White Garlic is an annual bulb, replanted each season. Plant in autumn and harvest in summer. White cloves, good market type. Messidor Garlic is a old French variety. White bulb and (cloves 5-20 per bulb). Milder taste. It's best to plant this garlic in the autumn. You separate the cloves from the tuber and plant them in your vegetable garden. These are classified as better in flavour than Elephant Garlic.
