This is a centuries old Turkish heirloom chilli pepper. Each plant will produce dozens of slender, curvy and spicy pepper pods. Each pod will average around 7in 9in in length, pods start off a very light green and turn to red. The pungency of the pods is notoriously inconsistent and the pods can range from very mild to scorching hot. The plants mature in around 90 days. This is a real must for anyone indulging in Indian cooking a great one for the true connoisseurs. The heat off these pods is only moderately hot making this a very versatile pepper for kitchen use.
